“. . . the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”
The “sons of God” are claimed by [some groups] to have been angels who had sinned and spread evil by marrying the daughters of men. A Jehovah’s Witnesses publication puts it this way:
