The Baptism of Wooden Vessels and Couches

“The washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.” (Mark 7:4)

This verse is sometimes used as an argument against baptism by immersion, whose advocates claim that the Greek words translated “baptise” or “baptism” in the English Bible invariably denote complete immersion.
