Samuel Temporarily Raised?

“Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit.” (1 Samuel 28:7)

We argued in the Testimony some time ago that the record in 1 Samuel 28 reads as if Samuel actually appeared to Saul at Endor, but many of our readers roundly abused us for suggesting that Samuel was temporarily raised from the dead.

We have no wish to “plug” this matter, and only refer to it now because it happens to come in the readings which we are considering in these Notes.
