The Forgiveness of Sins

“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” (John 3:13)

According to the Companion Bible a break is made in the text at verse 13 making these words those of the Apostle John and not of Christ. This would explain the meaning of “the Son of man which is in heaven.”
