When, and How, Was Sin Eliminated from the Nature of Jesus?

In the August Testimony, p. 307, a reader has enquired “when and how was sin eliminated from the nature of Jesus?” I would reply by asking: When and how did sin become an element in the nature of Jesus?

It is written of Jesus that “in him is no sin” (1 John 3:5). Reference is made to Romans 8:3. This verse reads, in part, “God sending His son in the likeness of sinful flesh,” but many writers overlook the word “likeness,” and make the passage read “God sending His son in sinful flesh”.
