The Evolution Theory

The word “Evolution,” from a Latin verb, “to roll out” means an “unrolling” or “unfolding”. The word is used in Biology to describe the theory of the gradual development of complicated from simpler forms of life. Some ardent evolutionists would have us believe that all living things, including man, have been evolved from one elementary living substance, which appeared on the earth in the remote past. Evolution in a wider sense, also includes the theory of the formation of the earth, sun and the stars from primeval nebulous matter.

It is proposed to examine some of these conceptions in the light of Bible Revelation, in a short series of articles commencing with this introduction.
