Gehenna: An Emblem of Endless Punishment?

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Gehenna). (Matthew 10:28)

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell (Gehenna). (Matthew 23:33)

And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell (Gehenna), into the fire that never shall be quenched. (Mark 9:45)
