Evolution—An Outline of Some of the Evidence

Too often we rely on ridicule when dealing with evolution: to make fun of an idea is not necessarily to disprove it and we will not convince anyone by mocking. For this reason the arguments used by evolutionists will be presented as forcibly as possible, so that the strength of their position can be assessed. When this has been done a summary of the evidence supporting the alternative beliefs will be given. Throughout this article the most extreme form of evolution will be considered, that is, the theory which claims, that from non-living matter has evolved by chance the complex world of living things which we see about us.

The evidence in support of this idea can be divided into three parts: —

It is claimed that the species in Australia, which are so different from those elsewhere, have developed in a similar manner.
