Baptism in the Triple Name

A correspondent writes, “I have baptised several in the Triple Name (Matthew 28:19) but I was suspicious at the time—something seemed wrong, and it would appear that Matthew 28:19 is spurious like 1 John 5:7. It this passage is spurious, are such baptisms valid or are such still in their sins?”
