The following message was posted on an internet discussion group, suggesting that belief in present-day possession of Holy Spirit gifts is not a serious error. Our reply follows.
The Bible teaches gifts of the Holy Spirit. Whether someone feels that this is possible today or not to me matters very little (unless someone can prove beyond doubt that this is a very serious error and right now I don’t see it as very serious)… So, I throw out a counter challenge to those who like to challenge others. Prove to me that this is a serious error.
